Dear
members,
As
the support group has become more accessible to the wider WG community via
the website we have had many requests for medical contacts throughout
Australia.
These
requests have come from:
-
Overseas travelers
-
Members wanting to travel or moving interstate
-
Members needing to see new specialists and looking to the group for a
referral to a specialist who is already familiar with WG.
We
have decided to establish a data base of GP’s and Specialists who
already have WG patients attending their practices. We believe this will
assist members of the WG community to access medical support from medical
practitioners who are familiar with Wegener's Granulomatosis.
We would like our members to ask their doctors, at their next appointment, if they would like to be added to this data base.
Below
is the link to the letter for you to print for your doctor to read and
return completed and signed by him / her. (Please print this letter
for all of your doctors as required.)
